KAZUTOSHI AIKAWA.
he is a craftsman."FUSUMA"
Japan has a unique culture of craftsmanship.Japanese fusuma made with such care and effort can last for well over one hundred years.
While wooden doors and akari-shoji are made by a workman for doors, fusuma is not included as doors generally, made with pasting paper several times by kyo-ji and hyogu-shi.
Every one of them is hand-made by our skilled craftsmen.

Arisa Okazaki's works feature sumi ink on lacquered fusuma, a traditional Japanese cultural element.
In pursuit of a modern approach to sumi ink painting, she incorporates acrylics into her sumi works and creates abstract sumi paintings.
Additionally, the frames for the lacquered fusuma paintings are made from Japanese cypress, integrating elements of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
